Lately I've been speculating, with the current growth of slave labor everywhere, that the only possible place for economic growth or even stability in a decadent capitalist system, is slavery.

The capitalists won't invest in new systems or development, their only concern is to protect what they've got. That means cost-cutting, and the easiest cost-cutter is always salaries. But there comes a point when they need actual hands on some levels to keep alive what they've got, so slavery is the only way to go.
